Adult audience worthy series...

A little background... i'm in my mid 20's and a highschool teacher who likes to browse once I will however does not get abundant time to try and do it in. I picked up the twilight series a year ago at a students request and was pleasantly stunned. Once the series was finished I required another one! Before Twilight I had not been into teen romance/ fantasy books particularly with vampires and such. I saw a book-list of recommendations by Twilight followers and picked up the "House of Night" series by laptop solid. This was value reading and that i am anticipating successive book to come back. My husband currently calls me captivated with Vamps since I started longing for a replacement series to select up. i used to be strongly suggested to select up the Vampire Academy series by my twenty year recent sister who has forever been an admirer of this genre of books.
Wow! I loved this series, i do know i'd get some backlash on this from serious twilighters out there however i'd say this can be a detailed second to twilight though it's a really completely different storyline/plot. i really like the background Richelle Mead provides her characters even ones that do not appear to vital initially. Rose is a tremendous self conflicted character to examine. A young however wonderful heroine conflicted between her life duty/purpose to shield her relief Lissa, a final in her family royal, or select another "alluring" path. Rose may be a lady returning into her own through the series having to traumatize self conflictions whereas those round her typically idolize her quite she likes. Oh, and therefore the proven fact that there's a beautiful & lethal male "mentor" named Dimitri in it does not hurt! during this latest installment things heat up between a couple of characters and onerous choices are created which will bit everybody within the long-standing time.
I have enjoyed every of the books however "Shadow Kiss" is what i'd decision the most effective in series to date. it's longer, that is nice for a way quick I browse, and for those of you who sort of a very little adult content this book alludes to some in an exceedingly tasteful means. this can be the foremost "mature" book and has numerous action and a few new characters who I realize terribly attention-grabbing. i could not place this book down. I bought it the day it absolutely was released and finished it sooner or later (reading in between categories and my lunch break). i really like it when a book will grab me and by the top of the book build the story appear complete however at constant time still agonizing that successive book does not start off till late next year!
